AccuQuote, Finds Success Amidst Recession and Troubled Insurance Industry
According to LIMRA International, life insurance sales were down 11% in 2008. I’m proud to say that we increased our revenue by more than 20 percent in 2008. In addition, we added to our staff of already more than 200.
In fact, last year our Chicago-based business and satellite sales office in Colorado placed in-force more than $11 billion in term life insurance coverage, a 20 percent increase from 2007.
Our recipe for success of attracting and retaining customers takes a different approach. I believe the people behind a product or service are about as important as the product or service itself. Our employees live the AccuQuote motto, which is to provide remarkable and personal customer service.
I feel fortunate to be able to provide so many people with jobs and continue to hire in 2009 while so many other companies are laying people off. AccuQuote has been able to continue to grow even during tough economic times due to the vision and performance of our employees.
